Juventus have agreed to sign Weston McKennie from West Ham United, according to reports in Italy.

The deal is worth €25m and will see the midfielder move to Turin on loan until the end of the season.

McKennie has been a key player for West Ham's under-19s side this season, but has struggled to make an impact at senior level.

He has made just two appearances for the Hammers so far this campaign, scoring once.

But Juventus believe that he has the potential to become a top-class player and will be keen to give him regular game time in Serie A.

West Ham have already confirmed that they will sell McKennie to Juventus after the transfer window closes on August 31.

It is understood that the Italian club will pay a portion of the player's wages during his loan period.

McKennie is expected to make his debut for Juventus in their upcoming match against Fiorentina on September 28.

He will be hoping to impress in Serie A as he looks to establish himself as a regular starter for the Bianconeri.

In the meantime, West Ham fans will be sad to see their star midfielder leave the club,Serie A Stadium but hopefully they can find someone else to fill his shoes.

Overall, it seems like a win-win situation for both clubs - Juventus get a talented young player who could potentially become a key player for them, while West Ham get some much-needed cash to spend elsewhere.

It remains to be seen how McKennie will perform for Juventus, but one thing is certain - he will definitely be making headlines this season.
