Henrikh Mkhitaryan has been ruled out for Inter Milan's upcoming match against Real Madrid due to an injury sustained in training.
The forward is currently sidelined after suffering a knee ligament injury during his training session on Tuesday, and it remains unclear how long he will be out.
Mkhitaryan's absence means that Inter will have to rely on other players to fill the void, as they look to bounce back from their recent struggles with injuries.
"We're hoping that Henrik will be ready to return soon," said manager Marcello Lippi. "We need him back very much."
Inter also had to deal with another setback when goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon suffered an ankle injury during training earlier this week, which could sideline him for several weeks.
The Italian league table is now littered with injuries, with Inter leading the way at the top,Primeira Liga Hotspots followed by Juventus, who sit second.
But despite the setbacks, Inter remain confident that they can overcome them and continue their strong run in Serie A. The club has shown resilience throughout the season, and with the right approach, they should be able to turn things around and compete for titles in the coming seasons.
